I'm not a fan of boiled chicken but a chicken goes well in the smoker. I need to start thinning my big flock so I can make room for the Ameraucanas I'm going to get in the spring. The hens aren't as important as the roosters. I don't want any other roosters that aren't Ameraucana breeding with my Ameraucana hens.

Is this the type I should look into? There's folk down the road that sell roos but they look like fighters and the conditions aren't good
