Did you ever hear of them? The pasties?

I wonder: Do any of the Squatchers have (or had) Seramas? I really want to learn everything I can before I get this breed. Because DH is like "absolutely no birds in the house" and I've heard conflicting stories of how cold hardy they are, if you have to have a separate heated coop, etc.

What's your plan for housing yours when you get them, Suz?

I have not done drench, but has crossed my mind. 1-1.5 tsp powder. I think I will give them some yogurt too.

Use 1.5 tsp of the powder not 1.
If you are seeing blood I would give them a drench asap.
Mix 1/2 tsp with 2 tsp of water.
Give .34 ml per pond orally each day for 3 days straight in addition to the other mixture. Make sure they have NO other water source. Mix new batch each day.
