Official Squatch Watchers

To explain some aspects of my life.... this is how Murphys Law happens.......

I... go looking for a tow hitch for my 2001 Subaru Legacy Outback... which I absolutely LOVE with a passion... and affectionately nicknamed the ZombieMobile.....

I find the one that'll fit and work for what we need to use it for..... aaaaand my engine light starts flashing (critical failure, don't drive it ANYWHERE) and DH notices something near the manifold GLOWING red... as in hot.... as in might catch on fire!!!

Yeesh..... my life.....

That's insane. I was checking out a kennel type thing they had, but it's smaller than my freakin' coop and costs like $350 AFTER the $200 off... um, no thanks.

It's a 5x10x6 thing. Still not sure what we *need* it fer, but it twas ON SALE!!!!

Rooster is flipping out ,he keeps running between his layers and non layers checking in on them. He's not had many layers, he hit manhood and eveybody molted now that the girls are getting back in the groove he's wearing his little legs out and he's going to be hoarse from all the crowing. He's a good little fella but he is taking his duties super serious. :)
My larger Speckled Sussex cockerel takes care to see that all the pullets make it in to the coop at night. If any are out, he stays out too. What a guy!

Does anyone ::: coughcoughRJcoughcough ::: have a diy solar oven they use? Any thoughts or directions to put one together?
Never tried to build one, there are lots of cute ideas on youtube, but I'm partial to the All American Sun Oven that's in my closet.

Lol! They are quite the chivalrous gentlemen. Little guy here makes sure all the older ladies are in the coop,he sleeps in between them but leaves the silly young things for me to shuffle in. Guess that's life when your roos a cougar hunter.;)
