Good morning everybody!

Anansi, thanks for breakfast. :) :drool

I have two tiny little pips as of 9:00AM today!! :jumpy They are so little, if you blink you might miss them. But they are pips. No rock n rolling as of yet.

My broody Cemani was taking too much time off the nest (like, a couple hours) and it was COLD (as in snow) here yesterday. I touched those eggs, they were cold! So I took WVD's advice and put two in the bator (I let them come to room temperature, first). There was nothing going on yesterday in my bator at all, I only opened it for a second and have been keeping my humidity around 68/69. So, we'll see.

I'm not very hopeful about the remaining 5 broody eggs, but--like I said this is more like a science experiment as it is my first time, and I picked Seramas. So if I get *any* chicks I will be thrilled! WVDs eggs were wonderfully fertile and active little buggers! So I've got that going for me. :)

I'll update as things progress....very excited!

I'm a dork....I was laying next to my 'bator staring at my non-moving eggs, and peeping at them.

Oh yeah! I was just looking for an update. I'm way behind again, but glad to hear you have some pips. And after looking back at the calendar, this is right on schedule, so don't fret!
And broodies are odd. You never know how they manage to get the job done, but they have the instincts. she will totally leave them when she knows they are dead, so just let her do her thing with the remaining ones. :D

So happy you have some pips! :wee

Somebody stop me from running in the yoga room/chicken room (lol!) and obsessively checking those eggs. OMG, I have to go check them RIGHT NOW. I HAVE TO.

Be right back...

Gluten free cheesecake, I understand :) I don't how you would make dairy free cheesecake.
I was thinking almonds.
I am going to do like Smuv says and ask google now.
