Official Squatch Watchers

Thanks for asking! Yeah, with 7 of them and Momma its just getting too crowded in there. So i worked on a new cage today. Second day and i really just have to finish the front and screw on the top. I have 2 doors to go on the front, mostly tack on more hardware cloth and 2 more uprights, install hinges. I would likely finish tomorrow if i didn't have to go buy feed.

She has a very creative art department.

Oh and update, my 8 eggs that got cooled to room temp on Wednesday when we accidentally shut off the Brinsea are all still alive. I moved 3 into the lock down incubator yesterday and saw appropriate growth and air cells, and I saw movement in all 3. The 5 eggs that were on day 11 were nice and wiggly, practically the most wiggly eggs I've ever seen.

:woot That is great news Rae!

I don't have an xray machine so we will have to wait and see what she has!

Ewwwww.... eww, eww, eww, EWWWWW!

Our outdoor cat, Sylvie, just brought us a headless frog as tribute. Well, as with all her tributes, we put it towards eggs (we feed them to the chickens). Well. I picked the frog up by its toes and it kicked me. It was very fresh and the kicking was a death reflex. Still I shrieked like a little girl. After a few seconds and shivers, I picked it up again and threw it to the chickens. Sylvie meowed indignantly and looked at me like "Why on earth would you give a perfectly good frog to the chickens?"
