I’m super tempted. You all know I’m trying to move. I keep telling myself 3 more chickens won’t make a difference. With the 2 boys I have I could use a few more girls. I figured I get them, just a little later...

You can do quarantine faster--by adding one of your chickens in with the new ones.

Remember that quarantine is the time you spend treating them for parasites--Yes I said treat them not check them for parasites! Too many horror stories on here about that. Just last week someone brought in a rooster with scaly leg mites and did not treat or even see them until integrated into the flock.

This will cut quarantine to two weeks instead of 4

They are an unknown person to me. That the youngins haven’t been in with their flock makes me feel better. I would worm and such before introducing them. Just trying to talk myself out of adding to my flock with my home situation being up in the air. I know taking the chickens is a must but not sure I need to add this stress too...

But, but, but.....more chickens!

We will not likely talk you out of getting chickens! We are enablers to the extreme...
