Official Squatch Watchers

I saw something that said you can try to blow them out with a water pick
Another option. I hate having stuff in my throat, i had a super painful surgery that was supposed to help stop snoring but it didn't work. They even cut out my uvula!

Tis 10:25 pm, and where am I? Sitting in the car listening to the tree frogs laughing at DD's #3&4 while they try to catch a couple companions for the tree frog DD#3 caught last year. :lau:gig:he:th:oops:
Too bad i am not there, i am good at frog catching!

@TexasSam They make a lighted wand for tonsil stone removal. A quick Amazon search showed lots of kits around the $10 range.

People also use a toothbrush in a pinch. Anything long enough to reach.
@TexasSam Sorry dude I'm late to the party! I really don't have experience with these. I know they're just chinks of hardened debris and crap that lodge in the tonsil crypts. I think you can pop them out with those long wooden medical Qtip swabs. Gargle with salt water, and if that doesn't work go to your doc or an ENT, they have a special tool to get them out I think.

Gotta jump in the shower and get ready for work (damn it feels good saying that! :D). TTYL guys, have a great day, love yas!

I have tonsil stones and I’m trying to figure out how to remove
One of my sons gets them occasionally. I know he has dislodged a few with a q-tip.

Doctor says some people are more prone to them for some reason but stressed oral hygiene.
Brush teeth and tongue after meals.
If that isn’t possible, Drink water at the table or rinse mouth out in the bathroom after eating to remove food particles from the mouth and throat.

Warm salt water swishes and gargles may help to decrease inflammation and dislodge a stone.
Also diluted peroxide used the same way may help.

Sometimes the stone gets so bad (because it’s literally made of bacteria) it causes tonsillitis or worst case scenario: a tonsillar abcess -which is no joke- so if you feel crappy or start to to run a fever get medical attention ASAP.
