Looks like our water channeling grid in the garden is working really well at keeping major rain storms from washing away our garden and from flooding under the house. We have a little repair work to do, but it is a successful test of a good idea.

@staceyj There's nothing that says the cat isn't destined to be just because you went to pick it up. Sassy was destined to be ours, but I still had to go get her cuz DH would bring her home. Our current cat was destined to be DD#1s even though we got her from the humane society. The only animal we've ever had that walked in to our house was Gurtrude, all of the others we've driven to pick up.

Ok, i'm going to get branded as a sicko for this but I don't care. I bought some peanut pieces for the girls off of chewy opened the bag and ate some. Yep, I ate chicken peanuts and they were delicious! Don't judge, if ya'll would have smelled them you would have at least been tempted. Shelled, slightly roasted, 5lbs for 9 bucks. It did say "not for human consumption" but i'm a rebel.

Excellent question!
They aren’t usually available for rescue, but I personally think they are cute.
DH says they creep him out.

their skin feels so cool. like rubber. and you have to put lotion on them "it puts the lotion on the skin" lol.

they are REALLY friendly.
