He not at all afraid of us. When I gobble at him he gobbles back. Lol

Well I'm far from normal but I'm glad that at least I'm normal when it comes to turkey talk

I had a wild jake that showed up September 2012 . He walked up to a shed door so I thought he was tame... so I put food out... I didn't have any poultry and thought he was cool... Well he would show up every day and go back to the woods at night...he would spend the day either next to my blue pickup or on the arm of a chair on the deck... looking in the window at me on the computerMessy Peeping Tom
Come spring his head started turning red and he looked at me funny...he was gone the next dayNever seen him again

Not sure if someone had him as a pet and let him go or if someone was free-range dinner. He could fly across the high-power lines so I don't think he was a standard bronze

Lol......yep. he definitely wanted water. Gave him some and some scratch and after an hour or so he moved on

Pffft, i don't gobble. Iv'e got a turkey call.Love hiding and making the neighbor think he has turkeys lol! He tries to shoot them so iv'e got the turkeys. He wants one really bad though.... no turkey for you!
