Was there beer cans and broken cars in their front yardRae it reminded me of a family that lived down the street when we were kids.
The kids in that family lived off of frozen hot dogs bought in bulk all summer long.
My friend would come out to play with one in her fist and two in her pocket. No baggie or anything. Just defrosting hotdogs jammed in the pockets of her cutoffs. (now called “jorts”)
If we played on the swing set in her yard, which was NOT anchored and ALWAYS threatened to flip over, your hands smelled like hotdogs too whether you’d been eating hotdogs or not.
We called them weeniersOmg. Weenie.
What a word!
WeirdoHe not at all afraid of us. When I gobble at him he gobbles back. Lol
Yes yes I know.....I'm a goofball that gobbles at strange turkeys

Thank you! I got them from a lady in Streetsboro OH. Not far from FNF. Thoreau (or Thor as my DH nicknamed him) has started crowing also. It's hysterical.
My coop started as a pre fab and I had a handy man make quite a few modifications. I just added some window boxes/window pots. I'll attach a pic. Im really happy how it turned out. A lot of rain here too .....humid and sticky today
The Serama coop in the background and all the other girls checking out the new waterer.....acting like they've never seen one before!View attachment 1407430
