Cappy, I'm so sorry. I hope some of the quail show up. It does bite that birds don't tell us sooner that something isn't right. It makes it so hard to treat and have good outcomes.

Rae, MD is gonna be a little whipper snapper. Be careful or he'll be telling you the jyst of everything, how it works and why. And his logic will be undeniable, lol.

One bit of good news, i have all the walls up for the turkey coop! 20180701_160832.jpg 20180701_173150.jpg

MD and GD are the same age... We have a new rule in the house... Don't put tomatoes within her reach! Had to buy some from the store and put the on the counter... Found her munching on them sitting on the floor. Her simple response was num num....
The Milk Drinker LOVES tomatoes too! He was stealing them off everyone's plates today.

My Bantam Cochin is fine being handled and held. Examined on the other hand is not okay with her. When I checked her throat (like I had everyone else) she struggled so hard she prolapsed herself. Luckily she’s been fine since and I’ve avoided checking her throat again.
I was doing routine other body checks on some of the girls and for some reason those with feathered feet have been having ingrown feathers and even double feathers in one feather follicle. So I snag her and start looking at her feet. Just looking at the bottoms and she’s struggling—then promptly puked on me! I know it was from her being so unhappy with me trying to examine her.
I guess that’s one way to stop me from doing it again.:sick

Holy WOW! My bantams are super mellow about that stuff.

Need to tame those beasties.
