My idea of what to do. Roost along back wall. But I could be totally wrong so please make suggestions.

It is nice!

You can add more roosts if you need too. 1Ft. per large fowl of roost is what you want. They will crowd onto them if needed though.

The plans look nice! Now to figure out the nest boxes!

The building is there but I'm pretty sure we are going to have to take it down to the structure and "reskin" it. I bought 2 windows from Menards (awesome store of you have one). I think they are 18x24 but I don't remember at the moment. That large rectangle on the bottom of the drawings is what is now the overhead door. But I thought put the man door in the center. I can always block off the front for storage if I need to but wanted to be able to get into the run from the coop instead of putting a gate on the run.

Consider a small storage area with a second door just inside the main door. The wall and door can be simple chicken wire. Idea is that you close the main, before opening the entry to the coop. If you have an escape artist, they're still contained.

One day I'll have my bandsaw mill and log trailer and all of my shelters will be made of cedar (not aromatic). AND FREE! Well the wood at least. I can justify the cost of the mill by the cost of buying treated lumber and siding for the brooder house and more green houses and breeding chambers, etc... Lumber is expensive.

ETA: I figure that's about six months away...

yes it does--it covers all of em. :)
Did you treat the whole flock?

Pick a time frame, like every three months for a float test after this and treat if worms are found.

You could get a microscope and have the friend show you how to use it. Here at UC Davis, the surplus place sells them. Maybe you can find a nice used one at a college near you
