I do like him. He's an awesome neighbor to have.
He doesn't do internet......at all. He's very much into hunting, fishing, and self sufficiency.
The bees are very important to him. I will talk to him and see what he says.

Any spray foam gap filler insulation should be LOW expansion so it does not warp the window and door causing them to not function correctly.

Very important to avoid issues from it.

Not sure how much insulating will be done. Current coop has none. With some unexpected costs accumulating secure coop is first on the list.

I like the spray foam stuff to help stabilize the windows. Shims are still needed so the insulation is really optional.

Here those old wood frame single pane windows are used by artists. They sell for big bucks.
They paint on the glass. It's actually pretty neat.
It just puts those windows out of normal peoples bracket/budget.

Jealous. How do you make it? Just toss some peaches in a pot and simmer the heck out of it forever? I've made apple butter before, but not peach butter. Our local orchard has peaches, but I haven't made it out there yet.

When he was nursing off one, the other was shooting to the ceiling like a fountain. Just one surprise after another. Family thought I was nuts-nursing - my mom especially
because she couldn't take over and give him a bottle. She also fought with me over the name I had chosen. She kept calling him something else- big fight over that too. I told her she had 3 kids and picked their names. I was not thrilled with mine. Our family communicated by arguing. I told her he was MY son, and I named him.

Smart kid, when he started talking in earnest, he said "I have two mothers. Grandma tries to be my mother too!" The only part she liked was that she got a grandson. My sister had two daughters.

I always stuck the other side in a cup b/c I didn't want to waste what leaked out, or I pumped while the kid was eating. Everyone was all like Why are you doing that? Just give her a bottle. How do you know she's getting enough? Sigh.. It's MY kid, I'll feed her how I like. And the name thing.. right there w/ you! Everyone hated my kids' names. My mom still says my older one's name wrong. They asked why I didn't give them "Normal" names. Everyone spells their names wrong. It doesn't help that my ex insisted on changing the spelling. It's been long enough that they should have them down by now. (I also hate my name.. Why shouldn't I be given the opportunity to give my kids names they'll hate too?)
