OK, here's a freaky one for you guys! Once I was gardening and I found one of these. I wasn't sure if it was animal or vegetable until it started moving. Weirdest thing I ever saw.

Anyone want to take a gander? You gotta love the internet!

You shoulda seen me when I was a vet and I would get a dog or cat that was infested with maggots. I would bribe my vet techs to get rid of them, it freaked me out so bad!

You can get rid of them by turning on a light. :lau

Lafayette Update:

is doing so good, you guys! He hasn't started crowing yet, but he keeps making this hoo-hoo-hoo noise, kinda like a seagull, or a mourning dove. He took a dust bath yesterday!!

I can't wait till he starts molesting the hens again, doing the chicken dance, and tidbits instead of stealing the food. :)

I am definitely gonna hatch out some little black babies in the spring, I think!
