Kids are free birding in the yard after breakfast. They are smart little farts, they hear the backdoor and all run to the end of the tractor I prop up so they can get in and out. They know whats going on.:)

My ducks start quacking as soon as they hear the door on my screened porch clank closed.

Please keep us posted!

x2!

I will.
Last night my son picked up my quilting practice piece from the living room. It had safety pins in it. I know how many and all are accounted for.
Not sure why or how she got it off the sewing table from behind the machine.......

I think you should show us the piece! :clap

Well everything she ate this morning has been puked back up.

I am going to take her to the vet ASAP this morning.
I think x-rays and blood work is in order at this point.

:barnie X 1,000!
Yes, she needs to get checked out! Please bring her today. She definitely needs xrays....

nope no way. It is just scrap that I was fighting tension issues on. Seriously just wavy lines of horrible stitch quality. (Currently in the trash under the dog puke.)

Not to happy about the heat of the day appt.
I will crate Delilah but my old guys will have to be outside. At least they have a huge tree and dog house.

She is active, insisted on playing ball.
She is still making daily poops that are normal consistency.

I will insist on x-rays.

I lubs my puppy and am pretty worried about the not eating thing.

Hope she will be alright:hugs

Me too.
I will pay whatever it takes. She is a member of the family so will get whatever is needed.

I am very suspicious of that bag of dog food......
I bought it 3 weeks ago, finished off what we already had open, so 2 weeks ago opened that new bag. She went off her feed about a week and a half ago.
I stopped offering the new bag of feed 48 hours after refusal to eat.
The newest offering is Nutro large breed puppy food. Which she also refuses.
She can and will eat boiled eggs and big dog cookies without puking it up.
No I don't give much of that. Just one cookie a day and one boiled egg.
It's better than nothing I guess.

Yeah, I shoulda jumped on here sooner. If vomiting is going on more than a day with supportive care, I start to worry.

Food avoidance can happen, but that should resolve within 2-3 days. Dogs eat when they are hungry.

I would be less worried about toxic dog food (that's kinda the zebra in the horse list of differentials) and be more concerned about foreign body obstruction (FBO)(hence the xrays) or she got into something she shouldn't have (AKA "garbage gut") then you worry about infectious, metabolic, etc.

It's good she is active and pooping! But an xray will help rule out an obvious FBO, that is your first step. Bloodwork second if they can't find anything on xray.

Sometimes they don't find anything and it's just supportive treatment--subQ fluids, an antiemetic, bland diet like Hills i/d....and boom, there goes 500 bucks! But seriously, toxic dog food is way down the list.

Again, sorry I didn't hop on here sooner! Is she drinking?
