Yeah, don't try to hatch that one. Dirt? What dirt? You should see how dirty i get around here. Sometimes hubby won't let me in until i take off the dirty clothes! Worried i might mess up the sofa.
Terribly sad today, i found a single baby rabbit born with its organs outside its body. Fortunately it was already dead. I have not been breeding during the extreme heat. Now that it is cooling off , i was hoping for some babies to cuddle.![]()
Love it!This is HILARIOUS!
That moment when you realize that Harry Potter is too scary for your rooster.
Same.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That was the first thing I noticed before even looking at the egg lol!
So glad you're high enough. They keep showing a video of someone's garage and it's flooded. Sounds like you picked a good spot to live.I’m still having rain and wind but not flooding.
How is in your area? or,
Is your town full of evacuees?
I will say the ground where I am can’t take any more. It’s about ankle deep if you try to walk on the “grass”.
Tried to get the dog to pee and saw 2 sheriffs riding up my street.
The said there are lots of downed trees, electric poles, and transformers everywhere.
My next door crazy lost some trees and I’d say about 75% of the leaves and pine needles, off all the trees except the magnolias got stripped and plastered all over everything else.
ALSO IT SMELLS LIKE PINE SOL!
There’s 1- several feet of debris everywhere. Tomorrow I’ll get out and take some pictures. Right now I’m watching two trees in my yard. Hoping they hold.
Yep we have all ya'll's evacuees, every hotel, motel, and sh*t hole is full to capacity. The roads are insane, people just running to get bread and gas. We just have a little wind right now but people are freaking out, it is worse than when it snows.I’m still having rain and wind but not flooding.

Rae, that man never stops being weird. He'll probably be weird when he's dead. He knows I don't like him touching stuff on the stove, not being mean but he dosen't put stuff back. He touched those shakers to irritate me.
Awww, Nunny you're lucky he didn't start from scratch he's a Dad and they go nuts when there is stuff they can do to help their daughter.Glad everyone is safe. Sorry about the bun bun. At least it wasn't suffering.
Those pigs in the background sure look comfortable in that position. Not sure how else they would go.

Holy Crap! Do NOT leave Dad at the project site. I went and picked up what wood I thought I would need. Get back and my dad arrives. We talk about the plan and he starts to take over. I let it go, I'm glad for the help. Was trying to do this quick and cheap. Do what had to be done.
I ran for supplies and when I got back he had removed a wall! The sill plate was iffy but I was going to leave it. I hadn't planned on replacing any studs....
Well, more supplies needed again.
Think the Sistine Coop it is. (I'm open to name suggestions along that line.)
10 days is about the danger zone for eggs. Yay for wigglers though, I think you have a mini BBC in there no way a silkie out manned him even if he was feeling bad.Day 7 of The Great Eggsperiment:
I have 4 wigglers going strong!
Hey, at what point do you guys (who incubate) toss out nonfertile/nondeveloping eggs?
I'm thinking by Day Ten--prolly all that are wiggling are all that's going to be, I'm sure. But at what point do you chuck em? I don't want a stinky egg explosion.
I still can't believe those old, cold eggs are developing!! Although, I have a sneaking suspicion that they're all going to be ugly Silkie mixes, not AC's. There seems to be a subtle difference in their eggs (as in the AC eggs seem a little more shiny and a tiny bit rounder). We'll see!
No, my Silkie hens may have been fertilized by the BBC. Or Negan, the Serama boy. I don't have any Silkie roos, those are my only fertile boys (Grumpy the Serama still doesn't get the concept of how to do the deed, lol. It's really funny watching him try though!) Those eggs are either Silkie or Cemani....I'm gonna have at least a partial fibro bird regardless!Awww, Nunny you're lucky he didn't start from scratch he's a Dad and they go nuts when there is stuff they can do to help their daughter.
