My teeth are still chattering. I’m not sure parts of my body will ever thaw. But almost all the roof is done.

Good morning ! 36 degrees this morning and all the chickens....even my 8 week old Serama babies were ready and raring to go outside. Tough little boogers

I think seramas are tougher than their reputation!
Although I did notice 2 young silkied ones huddled together this morning, the rest were bouncing around like it was 80 degrees. I wish it was. Brrrrr not ready for these low temps. But supposed to get to 60 later today.

I wondered about my 2 silkied Seramas....my Serama rooster and one of the babies are silkied. They don't seen bothered by tbe cold but I have wondered if that would be a problem. Do they have down under the silkied feathers?
