Quick update then I’m off to work.

Gladys is doing pretty good. Pooping! Her crop is still a little gassy but there are a few more doses of monistat to go. Should I give probiotics now or wait?
She doesn’t want to stand up. I think she got used to being catered to and decided she likes it better. I gave her a little shoe for her good leg. (Wrapped her foot in vet wrap to give her traction.) And we do some exercises in the morning. Basically I try to get her to stand up either by bribing her or annoying her. LOL

Chicken City is doing good too. (Those are the kids in the garage.) Egret the only standard size hen out there blew her feathers off in an alarming fashion. She does everything with a go big or go home attitude and this was no different. I found out she’s bananas for— well bananas. She about took my hand off trying to get to the one I was holding. Luckily I had plenty and she didn’t try to bully the others for more.

I keep saying it but coop is almost ready! I need to put up a little more fence, get the net up, and rig the door. It’s not perfect but they can live in it till spring.

Great to hear that things are moving in the right direction. Also, I call the sunny but freezing days fake sun. Do your Damn job, sun!

Sorry to hear. My daughters' dance teacher has lupus too. Please make sure you take your meds. She couldn't get her script filled bc the pharmacy ordered the wrong stuff & she ended up in the hospital for a while. :(

Dropped off the boys to their new owner. FNF, if you're still looking to rehome boys, craigslist for sure. I had 3 ppl ask for them. They were listed for free though. Didn't ask what he's doing w them though. At this point idc. I needed them gone.
Putting in the heated waterer today. Everything froze yesterday. Now I need to start closing the door at night.
I think one of the pullets laid her first egg. Could be from the bantam too though. Not really sure, but Ash's comb is black and shriveled still so I don't think it's her.
