After further investigation it is not as bad as I thought. When I first cut into it, a little liquid ran out but it is mostly just a cream (similar in texture to the one in the tube) inside a capsule. So I can still feed it to her, just the measurements won’t be quite as precise :hmm
Maybe stick it in the fridge for a little while !

I would NOT use the suppository as a suppository!
It’s for oral.
I should have said to get the kind where you get three suppositories and a smaller tube of the cream for external.
Id cut the suppository into four equal parts. That 1-day ovule is strong.
One chunk by mouth each day AND A liberal slathering on the hoohah with the cream after a good butt rinse.

NO Bread products. Stay off the corn or scratch too. anything that the body converts to a sugar.
No probiotics til the treatment ends.
If you can do the cream twice a day all the better.

If you aren’t seeing drastic results in the four days, give her the cream to both ends for 3 more days.
For vent gleet, I have used the supository in the well vent since it is where the fungus is.

Do you have a source for this? Not a post by someone on BYC though. A real source(scientific)

Sorry Ron, I don’t have a “source” and I’m not here to argue. I’m sharing based on having used this method on my own hen Rosie with great results.
I’m personally familiar with the gamut of these types of medicines based on personal and professional experience, and have used enough of them over the years under the supervision of a doctor, to be my own source.
