Official Squatch Watchers

Soooooo Ron,

I missed your age and wont ask it (bad form and all that).

BUT I hope you have a very Happy Birthday!

May there be cake AND ice cream!
Penny and I will be the same age this year! I am 59 now

No! It’s been super windy here.

We are going to be mid 40's to near 60 for the next week. No sign of any rain or snow.

It's so dry there have been minor grass fires.......in FREAKING JANUARY!
That's what we've had here recently, but now we're in for a good wintering for a while. After today we won't see 40 for a while.

Birthdays sure...but geezer day? One year closer to geezerhood? Come on woman! Where is your I can almost trip on my boobs spirit? :lau

Okay, I get it, but how does a male recognize geezerhood, and what comes next ? I think that I have moved on.

I just had a nasty adrenaline jolt. Earlier today I was looking in the garden at the chickens I saw, what I thought was, a chicken dust bathing and didn’t think anything of it. When I was coming downstairs to make dinner, I saw the same chicken in the same spot in the same position several hours later. I then noticed a patch of red and I realized what I was seeing. My Cornish cock bird turtled on his back. I rushed out and he was almost able flip himself right side up when he saw me coming for him, which was a relief. What happened is that one of his larger sons had jumped the fence from the stag pen and took him on and he landed on his back. He was a bit shaky and his comb was a little purple, but he peeked up pretty quickly.

I'm glad he's okay. That could have ended poorly.

No kidding. I would have had to go back to the breeder I got him from. I need him for at least 2 more breeding seasons.
Yet another reason I’ll probably be keeping 2 extras from each hatching. I’ll definitely need a bachelor pad.
