LOL if you're a 'big gal' then I'm absolutely huge... I've got almost 30# on you. I remember being 150 and thinking I was plus.. Ahh.... those were the days.Mini rant.....
Hubby has scheduled a breakfast with his boss. It is freaking Sunday and time change! I don't want to go.
His bosses wife is rather judgy in an insulting way.
First off she doesn't eat enough to keep a sparrow alive. The last time we went to breakfast with them I ordered an omlet. I really wanted to enjoy that omlet. She makes little comments that clearly indicate she thinks I am eating to much.
Yes I am a big gal at 160# but I HAVE gone down a solid 80# in the last 18 months.
Her comment while I was eating my omlet was rude and hurtful.
Mostly I am mad at hubby because I told him I did not want to do breakfast with them again and I explained why.
I guess I will just order coffee and make an egg sandwich when we get home.![]()
Anyway... I hope the meal went well, and if it didn't you got something good afterward.

Thank you for sharing!!!Yep, 35 is warm... I saw 33 on the tv this morning and though Ooo it's warm this morning. Of course here it was only 30, but that's still warm. We're even supposed to hit 40 today!!!!! Later this week I should be able to leave the pop door open over night so they can get into the big run. I'm really excited!!!I survived.
I am going to cook up a storm today.
Ham, cheesy potatoes, rolls, Cole slaw and asparagus.
That was the plan for today's food since Wednesday so that's what I am making.
We are warm here today (if 35° is warm).
I let the cochins out of the run. I am sure they could use a good romp in the garden beds.
That makes sense for the shape of the hole. Poor thing. She'll just have an odd flap of skin there. Do you see blood anywhere? If you're eating or just finished eating stop now ...

With further examination I think little Frannie injured herself somehow. That bigger rounded area that was at the top of the wound had me worried and confused.

But now when I look at it I think she stuck her head where it didn't belong and got it stuck. Then pulled back real hard. When she stands with her head upright it looks like the wound folds in half and touches.

I found this salamander today while raking leaves. What a fatty!
Wow, that's a big salamander!! Very pretty.Glad you're both feeling better. Have there been anymore coyote sightings?Hey guys. I have had a really lazy day. Thing 1’s fever broke early in the morning and he’s been normal ever since. I had a 1.5 hour nap before lunch and a 2.75 hour nap after. I’m on the mend but not normal yet. My 5 roosters/cockerels escaped into the main flock again. Rounding them up, even with FILs help wore me out. I’m back to eating my normal foods, but not in normal amounts yet. I’m trying to take it easy and recover.
I kill air plants too. We've managed to keep a couple succulents alive in our apt for about 9 months. I'm very proud that I haven't killed them yet, though I watered them a few times in the past week where they hadn't been touched in months. They just looked so sad and dry.Hi guys! I'm back from Philly. The flower show was so gorgeous, it got me in the mood for spring!

I bought a few tillandsias (air plants). I am obsessed with these things. Every time I go to the Flower Show I buy them and I always wind up killing them! And they are supposed to be very low maintenance, lol.
How you guys doing? Rae, I'm glad you're feeling better.![]()
