Well in a few minutes I begin the nest box build.
When installation begins I expect much upset and Derp screaming.

We had a 2 hour outage this morning, but it wasn't hot yet. No phone, internet or lights, but it was sunny and peaceful. It was nice to hear the refrigerator start back up!

I will fully admit that it was an incredibly peaceful day!
Still had water so cooling off was as simple as playing with the sprinkler....it is a plastic turtle with holes in it's back, technically it is a toy.
I got it for a dollar, and use it as a sprinkler.

96.6° today and no breeze! I fed cold watermelon to the chickens and turkeys, rabbits got chilled apples and the quail got corn off the cob.
Puppy cools off by drinking with her two front feet in the water dish!
