Thing 1 nursed 3-4x a night until 20 months when I night weaned him. I didn’t do it sooner because he didn’t really start eating until he was 15 months and wasn’t eating well until 18 months. It is interesting that I was handling the night wakings well until he was well established with eating then all the sudden I couldn’t handle it anymore and felt like I was being driven mad by it.
Nature's way of telling us it's time! And, the first gets the most patience!

She was Easter hatch. Right around then.... I’ll guess about 11 weeks. My first thought was wry neck but... so fast?
I have her in the house. Propped her neck up on a rolled up towel. I’ve helped her get a drink a few times. I have the chicken sling in the wash. She stays calmer if I hold her but I can’t do that all day every day. (She certainly won’t fit in my bra)

Does her crop feel full? Only 3 hours since she was acting fine, if there is a lot of hard stuff in her crop, could be impacted from those goodies?

Nope. Crop seems normal. I even went out to the coop at quarter to 11 in my undies and rechecked everyone else!
I always make sure any goodies are shared and in edible condition.
I can’t think of anything that comes on so quick.
Sometimes it only seems quick. They hide illness so well! You can keep her warm and quiet, hydrated with electrolytes, and check her in the AM! Sorry, she looks very healthy as far as feathers and eyes.

I gave her poly-vi-sol right away. I can try some of the foods from the article but my flock of weirdos rebuff anything leafy green.
I hope she pulls through. I’ll definitely be stuffing her full of anything I can to help.
Maybe some mackerel is in order! LOL
If she is up to eating mackerel, she will recover!

Morning folks :frow

Nunny I too vote for vitamins. Fish is rich in vitamin E and B. A boiled egg yolk has all the amino acids you need and boss also has selenium. Often, they'll go days and weeks with a vitamin deficiency and not show any signs and then all of a sudden, they've got a problem.

Alert! Calling the truck, the termite report and the VA loan cleared! What is the symbol for so happy you can hardly stand it!
:woot:celebrate:ya:wee:ya:celebrate:woot That said, even short moves suck.:rant But you'll be thrilled to be in your new place.
