Morning folks :frow

Nunny I too vote for vitamins. Fish is rich in vitamin E and B. A boiled egg yolk has all the amino acids you need and boss also has selenium. Often, they'll go days and weeks with a vitamin deficiency and not show any signs and then all of a sudden, they've got a problem.

:woot:celebrate:ya:wee:ya:celebrate:woot That said, even short moves suck.:rant But you'll be thrilled to be in your new place.
I keep saying that this is the last move. This time it really, really is! It really is a great place.

Good morning!

Look what just walked in front of our house! A mama Turkey and her poults! There were 3 little poults even though you can’t see them all in the pics.

Well, she made it through the night. Doing some reading and talking to encyclopedia briDanica I'm leaning towards botulism. So I gave her a molasses drench and I'll see how she is.

Poor thing. I'm trying to keep her mostly still. The molasses is going to make her poo herself... flush the system. Hopefully this works!

Poor baby, I hope she does better! That neurological stuff is so hard to diagnose.

Her comb looks a bit pale, is it? Or it's just the lighting?

She looks like my baby who is half silkie/half serama. I hope the molasses and vitamins help, you need a break and some good luck chickie! :hugs

Molasses is also chock full of vitamins.
I wondered about botulism a bit.....
I know you only give known good food so I threw it in the no bucket. Who knows, she may have found a yucky all on her own.

Her comb looks the same. Not laying yet so hasn’t turned red.
Who knows what they can get into. With it being so wet lately....some old treat from a week ago she unburied and though looked tasty.
I guess one of the other signs is feather loss. The feathers just pop out really easy. I thought hers were coming out a lot when I was handling her. Really smelly poo is another sign. Yep! Got that too. Of course as I was rolling up the towel to get her situated she let loose a big nasty smell poo...on the carpet.
But I figure at least she’s pooping. :gig
