I love old tools! I have a hand powered drill in my shop.
PM sent!
You can send the old and carpy too. I don't mind at all. Maybe I have that random size that is the missing piece in the set! LOL
Most of my screw drivers were actually my grandpas. Stubby wooden handles and worn down phillips heads. Wouldn't part with them though.

I'm looking for any info on taxes. I know there is a farm credit you can get... is it worth it?
Or is it better to run it as a business?

I'm asking because I need some things to start this breeding program.

Like another coop... I'm thinking there is a way to write that off. Along with other supplies. Help!! Point me in the right direction. My personal taxes are complicated so I'm not a total dummy but I want to start this right.

Really good question! I THINK farm credit is for crop farms....not 100% sure at all.

Might be a good question for a tax specialist.

Find a Farm Bureau and go talk to their tax adviser. Most "Equipment" can be depreciated on using the 179 method. Schedule F is a nightmare, but a good farm accountant can give you the tools to simplify it. You'll also need to track receipts, mileage, etc (stuff you're already familiar with.
