That goofy lady that lives down the road and is constantly wanting stumps ground just asked me if I wanted to go roller skating at skateland u.s.a....lol!
Nice gesture but no, haven't skated since my 30's and even that was derby and I was too old. Two hours would kill me and the next couple days i'd reek of bengay.
I can see my decrepit butt rolling around for fun. She has to be crazy, she's older than me and in worse shape. If either of us broke anything it would probably be kinder to just put us down.
Needless to say, I declined.:gig

I fall down enough without adding skates to make the world slipperier!
 
Oh jeeze ice skating is a whole other story! I'm really bad, on top of that it is just dumb.
What crazy thinks ice and blades are a good mix? And little known fact, enough ice skating will give you a giant butt eventually. :)

Figure skating was originally the art of making figures in the ice. They would measure the arcs and curves and that was how it was scored. No jumping and speeding. Makes more sense then "strap blades to your feet, go really fast, then throw yourself in the air!"
