The weather thingy says we are 34% humidity.
I am sweating my butt off and I am not even doing anything right now.
:barnie

How y'all do it in high humidity I truly do not know!
:th

No skating for this old lady either, ice or other!

I hope you're talking about the guineas!:gig
:smack For your hubby!

Seriously! They have a use.

Why would he do that? Is he nuts?
So the unit is on the older side. Plan was replace it. But have to do both ac and furnace because the furnace is old enough that a new ac unit wouldn't work with the old furnace.
I guess he got busy and didn't get the new unit. So now the old but functional one is just sitting there taunting me.
And I have all casement windows...so no window units

Ugh, didn't he talk to you about it?

Nunny, this! You could put the drip hose in a pee bucket and the exhaust port out any house hole you can find.
It would work until your dad gets yours going.
Bonus, they kind of look like a robot. :Dhttps://www.lowes.com/pl/Portable-a...MIvqq-mMy64wIVh56fCh0OZQoOEAAYASAAEgJkDfD_BwE

TOTALLY!!!!

A swamp cooler won't work in already humid conditions but those portable a.c. units absolutely will.

They certainly cost a chunk. :th

Maybe dad can hook the a.c. back up ...... Or did he evacuate the unit?
If he evacuated then the portable would be my choice.
