Oh - OO I have used carpet powder deodorizer a couple times -just a little. So far vacuum seems to be breathing normally. I promise I won't use that stuff again. I think it is a panasonic.

The best canister one we ever had was a Kenmore. When I wasn't vacuuming, I put the hose in the reverse spot and was able to dry dogs at my grooming shop.

Ohh girl, best part I can turn the brush roll off!
I can have suction only and if I do need to clean the roller it is only held in with screws and a plate...no vacuum Jenga! :wee
Make sure the brush roll stays clean and moves freely. Also check filters frequently. Those are the biggest vacuum killers. A air compressor to the filter will do it wonders. If not a stiff bristle brush or broom. Be careful banging the filters on anything, you can warp or break them. Don't use carpet powder either. That stuff should be called vacuum killer.

They can pop their hips out just a person. I read somewhere about someone holding the chicken by their bad leg and with it flailing the hip went back into place. I know that sounds awful but it may be the only way to get it back in.
Can you have her x-rayed? That would tell you for sure if it's something out of place or a break.
I'm so sorry. I hope you figure it out. When I get the chicken separation situation figured out I'll send you D'Uccle eggs.
