She’s ripped off her dew claws more then once. Usually I find the nail and that’s how I know.
I saw her licking her foot a lot last night. So I looked.

I have heard some breeds are more prone to the dew claw issue.
I have been super lucky with my dogs.

You are dealing with a painful injury with her. :(

:gig
He just gets mow happy. I don't think he charges her.... which would be a good reason she should be eager to help him:confused:
He mows part of my yard between his and my driveway... He mows about 2" high so he only has to every other week. I mow almost 4" so I miss some of the snakes and toads...so that strip does look stupid... But he kept blowing the grass on my steps and in the car brakes. Then he mowed infront of my house.. where the dog is tied up sometimes. Dog carp on the vehicles. Low branches of the spruce mowed up
:barnie:he So I sent a nasty gram and told him to stay on his own property because I was tired of needing new brakes every fall/2000 miles:rantHe apologized , said he would stay away from the front and mowed the other way :smackduh
I get that he was probably thinking he was being nice and mowing it for you, b/c everyone knows mowing is a thing for men... esp when they're not working... but wouldn't you ask first? Seems strange to just go and mow someone's yard. Although when I was living in the trailer my ex had broken his arm so I was the one out the push mowing (corner lot PLUS my ex was the laziest person ever so he would only mow once a month so everything was super high) and a neighbor saw me out there dying push mowing that jungle and hopped on his riding mower and did it for me. It was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for me (until the retainer lady!).

So this somehow happened...

Yes, my dog somehow managed to split her nail in half, long wise.

Trying to touch her feet is like trying to touch a bears. It might be easier to treat the bear! So I cleaned it as best I could then put propolis on it.
Holy wow. Are you sure you want to treat it? Maybe you can ask a dozen people then decide to do nothing after everyone tells you to do something.
Serious question though.. Can you put super glue on it, like with a tea bag to hold it together, or will that not work?

Made my resume... I'm going to ask a friend who's a library director who used to work in IT to take a look at it and see if I'm missing anything. I have a couple jobs at the local college I want to apply for this weekend, and another job as IT support that's almost exactly what I do, w/o the public people aspect of it.

I trimmed the tip off the top part so she hopefully won’t catch it on anything. I thought about gluing it but I’m guessing it’s swollen. I didn’t want to seal anything in either. It’s the top that is sorta loose but not enough that it came off.
Not sure there is much I can do but keep it clean.

I am sure he thought it was helpful and would have been if he didn't throw everything towards the house/car. He never picks up branches or walnuts so I worry about broken windows too.
I got him home and took out some clutter for him, fill 2 garbage cans with syro coolers insulin comes in. I took the ice packs for chicken processing LOL. Going back tomorrow to take some more stuff out for him... Must be the water aquifer we are on, My mom, brother, Uncle and myself were/are into hoarding stuff also.

Keeping it clean will be a full time job! Dog toenails are anything but clean. Maybe one of the boots for dogs? People in Phoenix get them because it is too hot to walk their dogs.

Good morning! Already off to a fun start, the derp boys are literally cock blocking each other.
Needless to say one is doing a little bit better job lol!
@apryl29 The wasps get sprayed with computer cleaner. I freeze them, stomp the adults then quickly get the nest down.

Lol my arms are still sore this morning!
That was a heck of a workout.:D
I just tossed the perches out. The floor was plastered in it!

Poor thing! I hope it heals fast.

At least you got something out of it that you can use! If you were a true hoarder you would have kept the coolers too.

Ha! That's why I love the poop board w/ PDZ. It sucks to scoop it every day, but it's MUCH better than shucking partially dried poop off it.
