He's just trying to make you happy... Sometimes we just don't get it right

I'm impressed you've kept them alive. I've killed dozens of them, but I still like them.
I spent a summer cleaning restrooms and shower houses at a state park. We literally hosed everything down. It was way to hard to haul a standard stiff style hose to every location. (14 if memory serves.) So we bought those. We killed quite a few. That's how I know cement is a bad idea. But if you do fray the out part you can duct tape it. Once the inner hose goes though it's all over. I also do leave mine closed at full pressure...EVER! To fill the hose and get it where I need it sure but after that I leave it open just a little. That way there isn't constant pressure on that inner delicate hose.

Bob you better  lol!
I know his intentions are good.
I also know he gets frustrated waaay too easy which frustrates me and makes him cut corners just to be done with it.
So see i'm being good and just asking for a hose.
I even just put a halt to the water line gracefully and even sweetly if I do say so myself thanks to Nunny.
I shot him a text saying pocket hose had a 100 footer now and how awesome that is, he knows I really like those so he's happy.
I know what im doin.:lau
Okay I have been single all my life ...soooo I would just go and buy a hose.... Is there a reason why you have to have him buy it? Or do you want to have him to be useful.

He does odd jobs at a hardware store so he can normally get a better deal than I can find online.
I don't drive anymore so I can't just go get one, it is him or the internet.
Anything he could possibly get there I give him first crack at it though. :)

I can't imagine not driving! :eek:I grew up were everything was a 15-20 min car ride away. Not because it was unpopulated but it was such a small town there was nothing there.

It is almost impossible to live in AZ without driving. We are lucky in Prescott to be a smaller older town that has a real Courthouse Square, and stores that are central. We are fortunate to be only 1/2 mile from Safeway and 1 mile to the square. Most places, you have to drive to do anything. Here, you see quite a few older people, even driving their electric scooters to the store and "downtown" to just socialize at the square! Very cool compared to Seattle or Phoenix.

It isn't so bad.
I pretend i'm one of those stuffy wealthy ladies with a chauffeur.
To the WalMart Jeeves! :gig

And I put trim on 3 sides, only one more to go. I cut a pop hole where I wanted it . Will make a door so I can close it if needed.

Ah I understand
Glad you have a driver in the house. I would have issues if I couldn't drive. Although there is a township bus that will take people around town. Last I seen it was$2 and they need notice.
