I cleaned up some old plastic pots and they were swarming with baby tree frogs.
Luckily the heathens were on the other side of the yard. I thought they were crickets until one jumped on me lol!

California valley quail, and one is a rare silver color!

Everything I read about quail makes them seem super hard to keep.

I have lost a few , but I think raising them with coturnix at hatch helps get them eating .
