I have been stewing in my own juices over the dumbest thing....and no not Bob eating the neighbors yard stuff lol.
The past few nights something has made a sleep disorder pop up I havent in 25 years easy..
Im having full conversations, fixing my hair, telling people to gtfo of my office just having a good time in my sleep.
I swear though if hubs asks if im on drugs or need an exorcism one more time im going to snap.
Each and every time ive woken up he's been staring dead at me.
Im the first one he's ever seen.
I think it is hilarious but he's taking the fun out of it!:barnie

My hubs does the talking in his sleep when he is overtired and or stressed.
Yes full conversations can be had.
I never ask questions I don't think I want the answers to. It's just better that way.

It makes for a sleep that is not restful.

Our neighbor paid $1500 to get their minpin's leg fixed after the other one knocked her off the carport, then they put a fence on that side to keep it from happening again. Expensive lesson, but it was a breeding pair so they didn't have much choice

Update: Lizbeth has decided broody is a great past time, Luci is still an adorable silkie getting come and wattles, and still has bites of vertigo, and Tinsley is learning to get his spur nubs filed to keep them from getting problematic, he's also crowing, but quietly and once every few days around 2-ish pm. We're hoping since he's an indoor roo and can't stand up super tall, that he won't get full volume. The other thing I hope it's that since his flock is always near and there's no danger from predators, that he will keep the crowing at it's current frequency and volume. The pigeon, parakeets, dogs, rats and cat are doing really well. We do plan on adding to our rat mischief.

Yes, Cappy, she is a rex, and is a 4 yr old retired breeder. She also has foot and leg issues from crappy care, but is still a lover. She does occasionally flip me off, but only because, and after, I give her the pain medication to help with the chronic pain from a messed up ankle due to the poor conditions when she was being bred. Other than that she is a sweetheart and actually enjoys being held when I give her attention before and after meds.

We're going on Oct 3 to look at the breeder and her dogs that she's planning on breeding for the next litter that we are interested in. We plan on finding out everything we can about previous liers and any early retirement of working dogs and sending video of the breeding pair to our vet for real time feedback from him. This will be the Anatolian Shepherd for my daughter's mobility assistance dog. The litter is planned for next year, either mid spring or early summer. If we like what we find out and get good feedback from the vet we will put a retainer down for first pick female.

In other news, I need to go to the local college and sign paperwork needed for financial aid so I can get my nursing assistant certification (convoluted sideways and backward step, as I'm a medical assistant), and then go after my RN. I'm too smart for, and not challenged enough, being a medical assistant, and need a little more responsibility and autonomy that comes with RN, plus I need to make enough money to make up for the change in finances when my husband retires in a year or two.

DD#4 will be getting her license in a week or two, and is a very good driver (which is nice cuz I taught her to do as I teach, not as I do, lol), and will be getting my dad's 4x4 Blazer next summer.

DD#3 will be working on getting a permit next year so we can renovate the garage for her.

I'm waiting on a quote from a surveyor so I can dispute the property line with the idiot building his house next door. I'm hoping the original survey information is on the 4 pages that are not available online, i.e., on microfiche at the county office for land development. I am trying to have an amicable relationship with the neighbor, and it seems that he realizes he started off on the wrong foot, because he's going to let me work with the fence builders when he hires them. We'll see what happens.

Other than a couple other projects, that's about it for updates.

You have been very busy!
Congrats? On the crowing.
Good of you to take on a needy rabbit. So many get passed by because of issues like yours has.
:woot On the mobility dog.
I am hoping you can find the survey info easily.

Edited to add...
Awesome that you are continuing your education to better things. :highfive:

Puppy sitting went ok.
I am worried about mom dog. She seems to already be drying up.
Those pups aren't putting on proper weight now. The humans have increased the supplemental feedings.

Good morning, looks like it here today as well. Red Sky suggests rain later today which will be welcome.

We have been very dry for a long time here.
The ground is even cracking in the grass.

We could use rain too.

They show us getting only into the low 60's Friday and on rain.

Definitely feeling like fall here.
