Well, and I really need to thin it anyway.UGH! That won't be fun at all. ☹
We end up with a heavy snow just after the lilacs bloom every year it seems. It is always disappointing. At least with bamboo there aren't big blooms being lost.

They must love that! Very kind of you.For all those with rain, I feel ya, but I'm not complaining. I'll take our year long mild weather over the rest of the country's any day. I don't have to worry about flooding in my immediate area, but there are a lot of rivers at flood stage. We've had maybe 2 days this year where it didn't rain at all. There's even a town that is now an island, but at least we're not freezing our butt cheeks together.
Ouch, looks like it is cold and squishy weather all around Squatcher land
I will have to find a way to bottle sunshine so I can send you all some from Honduras next week.
Wisconsin this time of year would be terrifying! I would turn into a chook-sicleYou just be careful Chooky, watch your pockets and be aware of your surroundings.
Id give you the same advice if you were visiting Wisconsin.
I could use some sunshine though, my birds have a slushie bath!

You can use them for nice beanpoles. Tie the tops of 3 or 4 together, stand it up like a teepee and then wind some twine around the outside.I wonder......can you use the canes as supports in the garden? A woven fence? I am hoping they prove useful.
Stay safe out there.
