https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...ine-shipped-eggs-no-problem.1046313/page-5385Hey all hope your days are going well.
I found one one of my egg orders will be here tomorrow!!! I was not expecting them until Tuesday or Wednesday.
So now in a slight panic because I have nothing ready and am at work until 1:00am.
I hear it's best to let them sit at room temperature for one day before starting incubation. Sound I do that? Also is it pointy side up or down?
If they get to my local PO before my rural carrier leaves, he brings them to me. He and his wife drive the route and she likes looking at the babies.Mine call before they open, around 6:30 and let me in before they open too, to get the chicks.
That is what I knew from years ago. No more. Now,I will go and ring that bell @ 4:00 am!If they get to my local PO before my rural carrier leaves, he brings them to me. He and his wife drive the route and she likes looking at the babies.
Last 2 times, they arrived at the PO from the distribution center after he left though.
Thanks a lot. Good read. I'll have to check all the eggs and see how and if the air cells are damaged.
