Official Squatch Watchers

Always thinking about future projects lol
So I was thinking I might make a chicken tractor for the Japanese bantams.
First idea. View attachment 2196403

Or thinking I could just do a simpler A frame design. Idk just random thoughts. Lol

While an A frame may be simpler the birds will appreciate the added space your drawing will give them.

Just don't try moving a tractor coop without having the birds secured in the coop part. To many times I have read about accidental smooshings.

Well, I won’t be having any more HAL babies than those that are already in the incubator. All the eggs I set last week from his girls are clear. Fairview has convinced me to hatch more Cornish and cull more aggressively. He’s given me a lot to look at. I also don’t have that many pullets so far. I think I might move Fat Daddy back and forth between the two pens of girls to get them covered while they are still laying. I also need to do some selecting of the girls I’ve had with Fat Daddy all this time. One of them is laying really wonky eggs. I haven’t had a single one of those hatch. She needs to go.

Lol, Renee and Tucks are broody.
Renee is in that little pink hutch so any way I reach in she can fulfill her hunger for human flesh.
She is scraggly between her plucking herself and broody fighting it is bad, her beard though is immaculate.
She is a surprisingly fat chicken, not much of her fluff was fluff.
Anyway she goes into her derp cobra now when I pick her up and does those huffy, hissy broody bites so it is really serious lol!
Iv'e had that to enjoy today and I found a bag of jelly beans I forgot I had but can't eat yet.
I got happy then sad in record time.:)

Good morning folks :frow

yesterday was another good day. Had to have a discussion about being responsive to the nurses and the docs... Sue's response was: "they piss me off" but then she did comply and did what they asked... When they asked her what my name was her answer was clear followed by a smile: "Pain in the butt". One more test and she'll be moving to solid food and get rid of the feeding tube. I'll take all the forward progress I can get.
