Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning! It feels like fall outside almost a little bit chilly, such weird weather jeeze.
Good sign she recognises you clear as day Bob!:D
Good morning folks :frow

yesterday was another good day. Had to have a discussion about being responsive to the nurses and the docs... Sue's response was: "they piss me off" but then she did comply and did what they asked... When they asked her what my name was her answer was clear followed by a smile: "Pain in the butt". One more test and she'll be moving to solid food and get rid of the feeding tube. I'll take all the forward progress I can get.

I'm so glad she's doing so much better! I'll continue praying. How are you holding up?

For those who use dog proof traps...how common is it that a big coon bends the set bar?

Bottom trap has the bent bar on its right
First time I used one and it needs repair lol... but it caught him.
The box trap wasn't tripped but the cat foodbait was gone.. before when it was tripped they dug under to get the bait close to the edge.. no digging and even the bait in the middle was gone.

WOW! Took me a minute to see what you were talking about. Its possible. did you catch a coon? You might be able to hammer it back into shape.
I was editing the post while you were typing I think.
Yes a big boar coon. When I approached he lunged at me.
Pistol went off as I jumped and I missed.... the first time anyway lol

Isn't there something in the rules about using a gun to not have your finger on the trigger until you are ready to fire?

Glad they worked for you. How do you like the traps?

I was ready to fire, but it lunged and I jumped a bit. I had been up for 10 minutes and not quite awake.

I found a bunny graveyard under the bushes out front of my house. I have a big sumac tree growing where it shouldn't and when I trimmed the bushes to find the trunk I got a surprise.
Two mostly eaten and buried bunny bodies. The one I could reach had a 7" spine so not a baby bunny.
