Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning everyone!

I’m feeling a great deal better today. Not only have I been fighting morning sickness but I’ve had a UTI as well. I found a remedy that is working and last night was the first decent night of sleep I’ve had all week. I also got my organic Doritos yesterday! They help with my morning sickness a LOT I have no idea why. Must be something in the spices.

Happy Birthday @Grammy60!

I too set more eggs last night, though my fertility is in the crapper. Out of 12 guinea eggs I set last week, only two are fertile. My Cornish eggs are also less fertile. My best hen right now is my White Cornish girl. Most of the fertile eggs that hatch are hers. My two girls from my original trio are a close second. I’m barely getting anything from the 4 Dark girls from 2018. And the eggs I am getting most aren’t fertile and the ones that are aren’t hatching. Good thing my breeding plans for next year don’t include them.
Hope you get over the morning sickness soon. I never experienced that, even though I was pregnant 4 times. Lucky me.
I hate it when the eggs don't hatch. Hope you start getting better results!

Interesting development with the (completely useless) primary physicians office....

Soooo to try and be brief....
Hubs has high blood pressure. During the covid shutdown he needed a refill. The doctor wanted to do a telephone visit before refilling his meds.....yes there is a fee for those. Because the "visit" would have been 100% useless hubs said no visit and that he would schedule to come in once things settled down.
Well today was the go in day. The doctor was a complete jerk! He wanted to draw labs....hubs just had labs done for the diabetes doctor. The PCP told him "Well have HER do the refill then!". I guess that doctor just fired himself.

Just as well anyway. That is the same office that failed to tell hubs he was a severe diabetic 5+ years of bloodwork having shown it. Not really any point in having them draw blood if the results show a serious problem and they never address it.

Fun fact....due to covid there are zero primary doctors in our area taking new patients.

The goal now is DON'T GET SICK OR INJURED cause there is no doctor. :th

I know! It is really clucked up!

Crazy thing is that is the office I have used for 30 years. Doctors have changed a few times....Apparently not for the better.

I know how frustrating they can be. I've forced myself to be nice and Sue's primary has been very good. So still playing nice....

Right in the middle of this COVID crap, she wanted Sue to come into the office before refilling her BP meds. Sue went into the rationing mode to make them last until she went in for her annual physical. And we all know the end result. Once we get through this, it's time to look for a new primary. OH! And none of these people talk to each other. Charts don't get updated or get updated wrong.

It's gotten to the point where when a new medical professional shows up, they have to brief me first on what they think they know. Then I correct any wrong information and then they can see Sue.:rant

They had a kit with lancets and strips.. I got along with extra strips... I have mom's 12 yr old lancets too. Her talking tester had very expensive strips... cheaper to get a whole new one
Ok tester came this morning, waisted 5 strips figuring it out LOL

Before lunch 88
Hour after lunch 136
Sounds good?

Lunch was chopped and cooked
1 onion
1 small potato
2 Cups of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots
Turkey breast

Mixed with hummus

Dessert was half a serving of 86% chocolate and almond butter

Figured I would do a normal meal.
