My friend had that happen twice now. I wonder what causes that? I imagine you’re still wearing shades?
I can see it now, you wearing sunglasses while carrying a flashlight in broad daylight, cuz they’re hiding in a dark space.
Well, the image is funnier in my head than in words, but still ..

I walked into work one day and everyone asked what happened to my eye. They insisted I go to the doctor in case it was pink eye. He said a sneeze or spike in BP could have busted the blood vessel.

Omg I look crazy in the morning, big Jackie O shades, floral house dress that is 99% pockets, captain caveman hair carrying a freakin bucket.
The eye honestly I think it was mother in law induced migraine that did it.
She tried to dump a child on me that behaves about the same as a feral monkey and I said no....about five hundred times throughout the day and eventually kapow.

Hi guys!

We got to hear Thing 3's heartbeat today, though it was a little hard because baby was so wiggly. Thing 1 was around and he wanted to listen to "his baby" which was really just his gut. The midwife obliged. Then he asked about 30x if we could "listen to the baby" again.

Must not have told ya'll, she took custody of a great grandson.
He was born to a heroin addicted mother and has poor impulse control.
She no longer takes him to his therapy sessions, and tries to treat him like he has no issues and dismisses it all as just being a boy.
Trust me it isn't.

She no longer takes him to his therapy sessions, and tries to treat him like he has no issues and dismisses it all as just being a boy.
Trust me it isn't.

If you did I was absent that day.......I don't recall being absent.....
That sounds like a horrible situation all the way around.
Ignoring a thing does not make it go away.

No, it doesn't and she isn't doing him any favors keeping him from going.
He has numerous problems on top of the behavioral ones his speech is terrible he's almost six but i'd set his development around a three or four year old at the most.
He was going to be a ward of the state which is just as big of a mess until she got him.
He's got a keyhole eye, hepatitis c, little dude suffers greatly.
He isn't the kind of kid anybody is set to babysit but you're a monster if you point out that fact

Does he still have a caseworker checking up on things or is that wishful thinking?
You know what? On second thought, I don’t think that would help. Caseworkers don't seem to be anymore put together than the parents the kids came from. I’m sure they’re not all like that
They do have quite a workload though.

It sounds like he is going to have a really rough road ahead and DEFINITELY doesn't deserve it.
Sometimes great grands, grands just don't get it. His troubles are far deeper than just acting up being a boy. Maybe she needs to join a support group for grandparents raising grandkids. The other adults her generation MIGHT be able to help her understand the need for therapists.

@Chickassan I had a good laugh when I met a new chicken friend and she said she had favorella eggs in the incubator. I immediately squealed "YEEEEEH DERPS" and she burst out laughing. She had the biggest smile on her face and said "they are derps alright"
