Thanks!I'd skip putting them directly IN to the stew... cut them in half, toss in bacon grease and salt, and roast them suckers until they are golden brown. Then add some to your bowl of soup... OR eat them on a separate plate.....

@RJ!!I'm glad I got around to banding all my older leghorn hens. I have a hard time telling some of the freshly molted ones from my pullets.If you could only see my pretty molters right now.
