Ooh... babies?I used to love them too but I don't do energy drinks anymore and I don't really like feeling more than slightly tipsy anymore. Also, if things go my way, I'll probably spend the better part of the next 5-8 years pregnant or nursing. If pregnant, no alcohol, if nursing, no more than 1-2 servings at a time.
I would keep and breed a Leghorn mix that laid such a nice egg! Lots of eggs and nice color~She would probably only be 1/4 leghorn. The rooster I had at the time was half leghorn half mystery chicken. Mama was most likely one of my Dominique or Dom crosses. So the leghorn could have been half Maran or Welsummer.
Thank you!!!Looks good! Really.
Soft, floppy, empty sac? Not firm and fluid-filled? Check.
No redness (just post-op bruising and razor burn), oozing, pus, or fever? Check.
Acting normal? Keeping that cone of shame on? Eating and drinking, not lethargic? Check.
You're doing alright.

Crown black whiskey! Now you're talkingJohnnie walker blue is my favorite scotch and I love Forty Creek and Crown Black whiskey
I have two separate flocks. My yard flock is all different breeds no two the same except for the three EE's so it's easy to tell who is laying what. Then my Ameraucana flock which is harder to determine.I have a few chickens that lay oddball eggs or lay eggs that I really like the look of. When production comes back up in the spring I think I might isolate my hens 3-4 at a time and see what I get. I have too many hens to trap nest.
I am more bothered by the cone then he is!Looks good! Really.
