Official Squatch Watchers

:frow Hi and welcome from the Squatch family quiet one. I read all, but normally don't post because I'm also the family oddball. One, I have indoor chickens, two, I'm usually 10 pages behind when I come across something to reply to, and 3, I'm usually one of the last 2 people on here to go to sleep because I'm on the west coast. I'm like the security camera, always watching, but not normally I'm the middle of everything. :pop
:hugs

Thanks @rjohns39 Sounds like replacing my shredded chicken. I would like to try ground chicken tacos.
The longer we stew one of our birds, the more of its flavor goes into the stock. By grinding it, you can quick cook it and keep all that flavor in the meat. Most of our ground beef comes from old cows.

27 degrees and a couple inches of snow here in Sandusky Ohio. It's a beautiful snow.....makes all the Christmas decorations look so much prettier. I'm going to put lights and garland on the coop today. Hope the girls appreciate my efforts. Haha
Sandusky, eh? When I lived in Detroit we would occasionally make the hour and a half pilgrimage to Cedar Point to ride the rollercoasters....good times!

Sometimes I miss the Midwest, a little bit. But not the winters...

@rjohns39 I am not a big turkey fan and have never cooked with ground chicken. Are there special recipes you use it for? And if you tell me to just replace ground beef :smack

I closed up the coop doors last night since we at Santa Ana force winds here in AL. I got up early (set the alarm) to go let them out. I need a shirt that says Only Chickens Can Get Me Out Of Bed Early.

@Anansi I am usually a few pages behind too, but I respond anyway. Who cares.

Off to get ready for the day, church and school band concert. I had a spontaneous nose bleed last night. 45 minutes!!! Dang cold weather and gas heat! And probably Celebrex since it wouldn’t stop. Which I will be skipping this morning. Bring out the Tylenol=worthless.
I make meatloaf with one package each of ground chicken or turkey, ground beef, and sausage meat.

Hello world! 36 and sunny here. Kitty is giving me snuggles, what a wonderful boy!
I need to try and find the stuff to ship and box it up. More ornaments need to jump onto the tree and i am taking a heater into the workshop to dry paint.
Oh yes and i need to be sure i bought ginger. I would swear i did but my glance last night didn't uncover it.
