It is just that she is upset. Let her rest and relax. Things will be fine long term. Life is full of challenges, rights and wrongs. Just carry on.

My mom also has dementia but is doing really well. She is still able to live alone and cook for herself, does her own laundry but my brother and I have taken over all her bill paying and her finances. We also took her car away. It's so hard because it's frustrating dealing with her and I don't have an over abundance of patience but I have to remind myself she can't help it when she tells me the same thing 5 times in 20 minutes. Lol Definitely challenging.I just called my Mom in FL. She has dementia and keeps thinking i am in Ohio. Never been there in my life! But she was saying how all the birds are gone so i am going to send her a hummingbird feeder with the box of candy she wanted. There is a screened in porch there, but woods directly behind her. Any way, she used to live on a pond and there were lots of water birds there. So i guess she misses them.
Poor Mom, i feel badly for her. We lived at her house for a year after Dad died but with my depression i just could not handle it any longer. Had to get away. So she is in an expensive nursing home.
I am about to to go sleep
MY FRIENDS Have been talking behind my back.
Oh here go hell come.......
Y'all *friends* quit PMing me....... you aren't my friends...
I'm just gonna go... OK? Kust let me go.....
Last time I found a hen looking that way, I had the same results, took her back out to her pen (winter shelter) and found the victim... She was covered in blood cause she was tearing up the roo... And he let her do it, just stood there unwavering and let her tear up his waddles. He was not happy when I took him in and cleaned him up and put bluekote on his waddles.Went out to the coop for bed check and found what looked like a crime scene! Found a hen with a head covered in blood. I bring her in to clean her up...can't find a wound. I don't know how people dub their birds and say it doesn't hurt them. She's back up roosting like nothing.
