I look at the NOAA long term forecast maps and I'm in the grey zone. Basically the grey zone is anybodies guess. Could be warmer than usual, could be colder just depends on how the jet stream and el nino play together.

Yup. Had to shower this morning, otherwise I would have woken up right about now. Time to prepare myself to walk into the frigid wasteland that is outside(well, not really a wasteland. Too many rats for that.)

I had to get my son up for a shower too. I have to drive him to school, he goes to a private schcool. When he went to public school, there was a designated pick up and drop off site. Our public schools are not good. My near perfect child was starting to change and have behavior issues at school. We had to make a change.
Busy day! Physical therapy, drive to the next town for a mammogram, hustle back to get child and hustle back the town I just left for an orthodontist appt! Leftovers for supper. Enchilda pie wasn’t that great last night, but we are chewing them down tonight anyway.

It really feels colder than 29 I'm guessing it's the humidity. Got two bricks going on the heater and the heat pump is still trying to kick on every once in a while. Chickens don't seem to mind one little bit,eveybody was rearing to go at 7.30 when i opened up. They're either really tough or crazy.

They just did the forecast on the news. They are calling for snow. I kinda laugh as .3 inches of snow really doesn't count.

This is our fourth driest winter ever. I am actually worried about my trees and shrubs.

They are actually still running sprinklers at the city parks.

This has been my alarm clock the last couple mornings, she wakes me up 6am sharp. She's almost 15 so i bring her in when it gets cold,she usually stays on the sun porch.

She's a good old cat,spoiled rotten but besides not letting me sleep in she's not a speck of trouble.

I have 3 (5 total in the house father in law has 2) and they are all spoiled rotten!! I would have more if i didnt have kids or other animals(or a husband that would let me have more) . I grew up rescuing and rehoming them with my mom.
(She now has 19 i think 5 live outside (she is the old cat lady!!)
(Thank goodness she keeps the house cleanish and has automatic cat boxes other wise you would be able to smell that hpuse from 10 miles away lol)
