Rapid strep tests are notoriously wrong. If you're not better by Monday you might consider making an appt w/ your reg dr.
Ditto. If they did a culture, if it comes back positive they should call you.
Sometimes it is difficult to determine if you have something that needs to be treated or to just treat the symptoms. Could be a mild case of the flu or anything. Hope you start feeling better soon.

PBM I do stalk your blog. I think it is a great thing you are doing. Seriously stress relief is important.

I loved the story of how you ended up getting chickens!!

I have a stalker!!!! YAYYAYYAY!!!! :wee I'm so honored! I thought my only readers were "Vinnie" (the hub) and "Liam" (my BFF and drinking buddy), lol!

Thank you, 21, seriously. Writing has aways worked for me, maybe more than therapy, meds, workaholism, perfectionism, various other -isms, and laying around wallowing (whih accomplishes nothing, other than making you feel worse).

There will be lots more funny chicken stories to follow, I promise. Stalk on, Wayne!

@pitbullmomma when you say you are from a Piney Hole in NJ, do you mean Pine Hill? That is where my college roommate was from.

Hey, Rae! No, I never heard of Pine Hill.

I'm from a little Piney town, dirt-road-taterstain-on-the-map called Pine Lake Park. And from various other little Pine Barren towns and seaside towns (one of the places I grew up in was Seaside Park, where that dreadful Jersey Shore show was filmed).

South/south-central Jersey is called the Pine Barrens, for much of it. There are acres and acres of pine forests, cedar-water creeks to go canoeing in, and--possibly--the Jersey Devil. For a place north of the Mason-Dixon line, it is surprisingly redneck. Did you ever see that old movie Deliverance, with Burt Reynolds and Jon Voight? It's crazy, but where I grew up, that's what it is like here. Banjo boy and all. :)

Finally caught up and now I need to get some things done.

I let the small chicks have the front run today and blocked the big chicks off to the back run. The big chicks will not be happy to be moved to the other side of the coop. Those taterholes don’t like change! But the back run goes to the smaller side of the divided coop where Sesame was. Deal with it Tater Heads!!!

I have worked with lots and lots of doctors, surgeons, etc. Some care, some don’t, some are very competent and some I would never go to. Unfortunately, until you are working side by side with doctors, you don’t always know.

Anyway, got to be productive!
