Is it possible that you're feeling in the morning is Grit? Maybe try giving her Mash to see if she'll eat more.Tomorrow is retreat for mites.
It appears my welsummer is having a crop issue. She is eating but not much and the crop at night is about golf ball size and hard. In the morning it is not fully empty but about half a golf ball in size. Breaking out the coconut oil this morning. That should be fun.
I have kept her crated this week so I can monitor her intake and out go. She does get up and move around well.
That reminds me I'm giving my chickens corid right now. The vet said not to consume the eggs but is it safe to feed the eggs back to the chickens? Feels like such a waste just to throw them away but I don't want to be giving them the corid back through the eggs. And what about the shells? Are those ok to refeed during a withdrawal period?I got nuthin yesterday. 2 the day before. Doesn't matter i am feeding them back to them right now.
I'm going to call bulltaters on this b/c my gma drank coffee every single day of her adult life and she lived to 86.. Granted, she did have cancer, but it was lung cancer, but testing confirmed that she was genetically predisposed to have it, and it wasn't caused by something she did or ingested. All coffee.

My kids are the same way.. I suggested getting some cornish crosses this year so they could have the chick experience but then we'd process them.. they said no b/c they knew they'd get attached. I gave Steve away 6 months ago and I'm STILL hearing about how they miss him... he's literally living the rooster life w/ his own harem of ladies to fertilize. He isn't missing my kids.Me??
No. It is hard enough to cook an old gal to where the family will eat it.
Soooooooo sensitive about eating a "pet".
Seriously the plan all along had been to cook em up eventually.
