Just found out deer are terrifying! I'm putting everyone to bed and the rooster starts alarming, i don't see anything so im like "go to bed re re". Then i hear all these leaves and ruckus and see deer,tater piles of deer jumping the fence. The chickens go towards the deer the deer come towards the chickens...im about to tater my pants. Rooster finally got some sense and stopped, thank goodness because these were big deer. I cooped everyone tonight with a herd of deer watching me lol! I shouldn't have complained about stray cats i guess.

Be careful during mating season and with mama's and new babies. That's when deer are most dangerous

Well Cappy, i told hubs I was buying turkey eggs, i didn't mention hatching them but i wasn't asked lol! He may not have actually heard me at all and just said ok so it looked like he did hear me. Anyway, these are probably suprise turkeys I've not heard enough guff to convince myself he heard me lol! He's probably going to want to eat them once he realizes they're here. And when they die of old age,they're all his.
