Official Squatch Watchers

Braggart. I bet he even puts the toilet seat down. If you tell me he manages to not pee all over the toilet & floor I'm going to believe that you're making it all up.
It is all true. When i messed up the toilet seat he made me clean it though. Seems fair.

Whoa. This is SO COOL (for me. First timer, don't roll your eyes!)

But I just caught my lil Brahma bantam, Deila, in the act of laying an egg! I never saw that before.

Here it is, freshly laid...

She was in her nest box, and I heard this weird little hissing/squirting sound. Then she got off and left, and there it was! A freshly laid, warm egg! It was still partially wet, I could see the bloom (what I guess was the bloom) drying as I held it.

It was like a tiny little miracle! I'm silly, but I always thank my birds for their eggs. :)
Please... I still get excited every. single. day. when I go in the coop and see what gifts they left behind. Then when I see them in the box I always hope they'll be ok enough w/ me being there to plop out their egg. It's happened a few times. Then I grab in and ask everyone if they want to hold it. My nephew always looks disgusted and tells me it came out of a chicken butt & it's dirty.

So he's not totally perfect. Good to hear, otherwise I might has suspected him for an alien or incredibly lifelike android.

HIYA Sassy Mouth! How are you feeling?
Better today. Good grief what a miserable 36 hours

I think it is always amazing!
Hahahahaha, I just found this picture of me in Puerto Rico, covered with pigeons (hubby and I got married there just the two of us, like 3 or 4 years ago). There's this square where there are literally thousands of pigeons, I think it's called Pigeon Plaza, or something like that. This was way before the Chicken Mania began....

ETA: I just looked it up, it is Pigeon Plaza. Or Plaza de Armas, in San Juan.

My hubby is terrified of birds, and I made him go in the plaza, and I got a great picture of him looking horrified/disgusted with pigeons on him, lolol. I wish I could find it!

He's a good egg (no pun intended) putting up with this chicken addiction considering his bird phobia, lol!!!!
We went to Puerto Rico last March. Very neat trip. My strong manly, manly went snorkeling for the first time and he was very hesitant and had trouble getting the hang of the breathing. I had never seen him like that.

What?? You have a chicken named Deila?? Then surely you must have one named Suzi....huh??? Do ya??? Do ya huh??:idunno

Amen, sistah. I would be SO PISSED if my hubby bought me any kind of cleaning implement!!!!!! Other than a maid, lol.

Perfume, massage, pedi, a Sephora or TSC gift card, anything with a chicken or pitbull on it? Now you're talking!
One year I asked for a Dyson and was very excited to get it. One year dh got me a light up electric keyboard (because I used to play the piano)! Awful gift! A couple years ago I got a Roomba and now I get fussed out about not using it or keeping it clean!! I love it when my list is followed. I hate I am difficult.

Do y’all have any exciting weekend plans? I don’t think we do and it is suppose to rain all weekend!
Kids are w/ their dad. I'm working on a computer for a former co-worker.. This will be the 3rd night of trying to fix it. It's sooooo frustrating. Then hopefully it will work tonight and I'll spend the next 2 days cleaning, sleeping, and doing nothing. Although I need to get chicken feed & straw out to the coop. I'm hoping I can get my car through the snow so I don't have to carry it.
