G'morning all! Guess it's my turn to make breakfast?! Everyone gets a pack of Lucky Strikes and a bottle of Jack. There!

I completely forgot how much I love sleeping with the windows open. The smell of fresh air in the room... ahhhhhh.

Terribly MOIST out today, but it isn't raining, so there's that. Hopefully I can get the table saw put together and cut some boards for coop doors today. I didn't stop taking the BP meds cause I seem to be doing better each day..... stopping it means I might have to go through a weeks worth of tatering symptoms again... and since I DIDN'T HAVE A COLD, it didn't make sense to stop the meds until I *got over my cold*. DH is kinda ticked off over the entire situation, since it didn't seem like either nurse was listening to me, but I think our marriage will survive... :lau

What's everybody else up to today?

That would be amazing & would solve my 'which one laid the blue/ green egg... and how do I tell the 2 white puffies apart.

I cut new legs for the bunny condo that are 4x4s because i found some pressure treated scraps. And attached them to the sides of the condo. I covered the top of the condo with hardware cloth, and hammered it on. I hate working with that stuff, i always get scratched. Any way, i figure if i take the tin roof off later to use for the lean to the bunnies will still be safe. The latches for all 4 doors are on now. So i just have to put on the feeders and set up the watering system. I would have taken a picture but it was too dark by the time i finished .

They come running around from the side of the house hoping for a treat. They run in a pack and their feet thump thump thump on the ground. Margaret leads the way! "Come on!" She yells to the others "Hurry! The lady has grapes or cilantro or the Greek yogurt we love that's never on sale!"

I had one this morning that laid her egg quietly just before or after I entered the coop & waited until I had collected the eggs & left to do her song. Apparently I was interfering w/ her process.

As soon as you said half circle I knew what you meant, my kids love it. If he wants to just eat them at home & doesn't need the fancy packaging, it's WAYYYYY cheaper to buy a container of Nutella and some fancy hard bread sticks. My kids use pretzels & it's really good w/ those honey twisty pretzels. Heck, Nutella can make a piece of cardboard taste amazing.

I'll contribute several 1/2 boxes of 'it's expired, but it's still crispy' cereal... and some 'at least it isn't expired too' milk to the morning meal. Oh and a butt load of eggs, but you gotta cook them yourself.


My mom said her friend was getting eggs from someone and apparently they were old and made them all sick. I'm hoping she's just over-reacting (b/c she's like that).. and that someone really wouldn't be selling old eggs.
Oh, and I wanted to share this recipe.

My giant human volunteered to bring in beignets for her french class the other day. They turned out really well. Powder sugared most of them, but slapped some nutella on the ones we ate at home. Mmmmmm Def going to make them again.. was very easy!

As soon as you said half circle I knew what you meant, my kids love it. An easy way to make these is to buy frozen bread dough balls...let them thaw and rise over night them fry them. We eat them but minus the powdered sugar and with cane syrup. Has to be cane and has to be Steens brand.

Where were you on Monday?! Thanks for the tip! I've made 'donuts' by deep frying pillsbury biscuits before & those are good too.
