Last week I witnessed with my own eyes a squirrel actually fall from a great height. (North Carolina pine trees.)Excuse the mess it was feeding time for the heathens and they eat like pigs, but this is what i deal with. This is Hobo, she's cute right? He landed on the ground not five feet from me.
I was stunned by how incredibly FAT he was.
Then over the next few days I started noticing (HEY! Wait just a taterin’ minute) that ALL the squirrels who live in my neighbor’s tree -just on the other side of my fence-but come to my yard too, ARE MORBIDLY OBESE!
Which coincided with the sudden uptick of my feed expenses.
The feeder hangs inside my run, but the run is open most of the day.
What should I do about this?
