Oh how I wish for even the 30's here.
We are sitting at 2°.

My birds are holding up well so far. We have about 5 more weeks before we see a decent warm up. Then will still get heavy wet snow until early May.

We have kids across the country in flood areas and iced over areas. Of course that leads to worry.

Y'all are making me turn green with all these peppers and chilis.:sick
X2
:sick
Yep, out at 2 am to shovel drive and brush off merc and scrape ice off windshield. I'd better at least get a thank you from DH.

Anyhow, coffee's on, scrambled egg casserole with broccoli, bacon, diced tomatoes and spinach is keeping warm in oven, small slow cooker has cinnamon spiced pears, there's banana bread and peach turnovers on the counter. Tea is in the cabinet, as always. Have a great morning, and see y'all in a little while.
He better realize how lucky he is.
Thanks for the tea and the pears are yummy..

:frowRJ and everyone

Yesterday was SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

My mom's taking me to see a movie today. I can't decide between The Greatest Showman and Black Panther... Here's a pros and con's list(cuz I need to externally process it and feel like doing it now:p)
Black Panther:
Pros:
This one is one I'm looking forward to a little more
I really like the avengers franchise
I've heard it's really good
It's going to be a while before it comes out on dvd(more on that)
Cons:
We generally buy many of the avengers movies on dvd(see above)
My siblings might be jealous(that isn't a very significant con though... :p)

The Greatest Showman:
Pros:
My parents thought it was AMAZING
Not sure if we'll get it on dvd, so it would be cool to see it in theatres.
Cons:
My mom's already seen it
Not as anticipatory of this as Black panther

Yeah, I think I'm leaning towards Black Panther.

Good morning, Squatchers!

I've got a ton of catching up to do here. It was so beautiful here the past couple days, like summer! I mean like 77 degrees (in February, WTH?!), crazy! I wore flipflops and sported my janky, nasty looking toes out to happy hour yesterday and did not care, lol!

I mucked out part of the runs, have been letting my chooks free range a bit in the backyard (supervised) a bit, which they LOVE, clipped a few wings so my flyers don't fly away in the woods, and have just been playing outside while I can. There are little bulb shoots already starting to sprout; they look like crocuses. :)

My eggs are coming today!! I'm so excited. :weeI'll let you know how that goes. First-time hatcher here!

Gonna drink some coffee and catch up on the hundreds of threads here....love ya's! :caf

Eggs! She's got some pretty babies too you're going to be absolutely nuts when those little suckers hatch. Sooo how many are you going for?

Well, I signed up for a dozen. But it seems like I have 24 coming!! She is so generous. :love Thanks Nat!

There are 20 Serama, and 4 frizzled Cochins. Which is fine (unless you talk to my hubby, ha) cuz I'm pretty sure I can get rid of any unwanted chooks if I have an abundance; I know a LOT of chicken people by me (there are 5 backyard chicken houses on my block and going up the next street alone)

I am dying for the mailman to come!!!!!!!
